Best Starts invites all interested and eligible organizations to submit their qualifications for one or both bodies of work described in this RFQ.

This announcement is open to individuals, private agencies, not-for-profit organizations, community-based organizations, tribes and tribal organizations, schools and school districts, and public or governmental agencies serving communities in King County. Eligible small non-profits and community-based organizations are encouraged to submit applications.

This RFQ requires an organization or organizations that embed ESJ in all their work and centers infants, toddlers, very young children and their families, caregivers and the individuals who support and provide services within the context of multiple systems.

 Eligible applicants must meet the following:

1. Reflective Consultation Minimum Qualifications:

• Capacity to subcontract with up to 25-30 Reflective Consultants serving 100-150 groups.
• 3-5 years of complex project management or systems coordination experience.
• Ability to work with diverse Reflective Consultants and group participants.

2. Training/Workshops Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of complex project management or systems coordination experience.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of trainers/workshop facilitators.

Eligible community-based organizations with expertise and experience in promoting wellbeing of young children and families, planning or delivering adult education, and implementing equitable and culturally relevant approaches are also encouraged to apply.

Interested parties may submit questions in writing prior to the date and time indicated in the RFQ schedule through the Contact Admin tab in ZoomGrants. The DCHS response to all questions received will be posted as an RFQ addendum on ZoomGrants.

If potential Applicants experience technical difficulties with ZoomGrants leading up to the due date, please email your Application to the RFQ Lead directly to avoid a late submission.

Applicants are encouraged to complete their applications early to avoid any difficulties or errors in submission. DCHS is not responsible for any technical difficulties that an applicant may experience, and late submissions may result in rejection of application.
