The King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) is pleased to release this Grant Application Assistance Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from the Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) to provide grant application assistance support to community organizations applying to VSHSL funding opportunities.
The purpose of this RFQ is to procure multiple skilled grant application assistance consultants, organizations, and/or individuals who can work with King County to provide effective and efficient grant application assistance (GA) to CBOs.
Grant application assistance consultants will support CBOs interested in responding to VSHSL and other King County funding opportunities with culturally responsive assistance on proposal development. They will help potential applicants determine whether programs are an appropriate fit for the VSHSL and King County procurements released, navigate the proposal process, review drafts, refine budgets, and support potential CBO applicants to authentically share their stories of success and impact. Consultants will not write proposals for RFP applicants but will assist them in the writing process.
