OVERVIEW:
This RFP is seeking to fund programs that mitigate historic and current institutional and systemic racism and marginalization by offering unemployed and underemployed job seekers supports and by removing barriers to employment and training programs, with a focus on Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, immigrant and refugee communities, people experiencing homelessness, people impacted by the criminal legal system, people with disabilities, the LGBTQ community, Veterans, and Seniors. King County seeks a diversity of approaches so that, in whole, we will be funding a network of programs that addresses the needs of the three main populations: Resilient Communities, Seniors, and Veterans.
