OVERVIEW:

This RFP seeks to fund entities to provide mental health services to veterans, military servicemembers, and their respective family members, as well as seniors and their caregivers, in order to increase access to mental health care and reduce potential wait times.

Please note: The VSHSL Implementation Plan requires funding at least one physical location in each King County Council district for this strategy. Thus, this RFP will also consider the geographic reach of applicants.

Requirements  [hide this]

This request is open to for-profit and nonprofit organizations, community-based organizations, tribes and tribal organizations, and public or governmental agencies serving communities in King County. Small nonprofit, community-based Black, Indigenous, and other Communities of Color-led organizations are encouraged to submit proposals.

Eligible Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

1. Minimum two years of experience in the state of Washington recruiting, coordinating, and supervising services provided by   credentialed mental health providers with knowledge of the specific issues relevant to the population(s) served.

2. Minimum one year of experience providing services to the specific population their application proposes to serve (veterans, military servicemembers, or military families; and/or seniors).

3. Ability to provide consistent outreach and marketing services to maintain and expand community awareness of proposed services.

4.  Submit a complete and timely application within the scope of work of this RFP as outlined in Section II. C., RFP OVERVIEW: The Request.
