Submitting a Proposal
Proposals must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. PST on March 23, 2023. Proposers are responsible for regularly checking the ZoomGrants Library tab for any updates, clarifications, or amendments to this RFP.
If you have any trouble submitting your proposal through ZoomGrants, please email questions@zoomgrants.com to receive tech support. If it is close to the deadline and you are still unable to submit on ZoomGrants, please email your proposal to DCHSContracts@kingcounty.gov before the due date and time.
RFP Description
The King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) is pleased to release this Request for Proposal (RFP) for Community Behavioral Health Rental Assistance (CBRA) with funding from the Behavioral Health and Recovery Division (BHRD).
CBRA provides long-term or Bridge Rental Subsidies for individuals with Behavioral Health Conditions and their Households. When partnered with programs offering supportive housing services, highly vulnerable persons with complex behavioral health needs have opportunities to live independently in the communities of their choice.
CBRA partners rental subsidies with programs offering supportive housing services in order to support the opportunity for individuals with behavioral health conditions and their Households to live independently in the communities of their choice.
This RFP seeks an organization to administer CBRA to Households already enrolled in CBRA as well as to new Households, as capacity and budget allows.

Questions or feedback should be submitted by the date and time indicated in the RFP timeline to ensure DCHS has enough time to respond. Answers will be posted as an RFP amendment in the ZoomGrants Library tab so that all those interested in applying will have the same information.

DCHS will post a written list of questions and answers, and recordings from the pre-proposal conference, in the ZoomGrants Library tab as an RFP amendment. Applicants are responsible for checking ZoomGrants often for any posted amendments to this RFP.
Technical Difficulties
If applicants experience technical difficulties with ZoomGrants, please follow up with ZoomGrants customer service by emailing questions@zoomgrants.com. If applicants’ technical difficulties are not resolved by the due date, please email your proposal to the RFP Coordinator directly before the deadline to avoid a late submission. Late proposals may be rejected.
