About:
The King County Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) is pleased to release this Request for Proposal for Countywide Information and Referral with funding from the Veterans, Seniors and Human Services (VSHSL) and guidance from the VSHSL Implementation Plan (kingcounty.gov/VSHSL-Implementation-Plan).
Seeking health and human service assistance can be complicated by decentralized, fragmented and difficult-to-navigate systems. To support King County residents in accessing needed assistance, this RFP seeks one entity to either provide a centralized information and referral service that supports connections for each of the populations served by this levy to services that are available in King County or to lead a consortia of agencies that will plan for and assist in the development of a King County Community Information Exchange.
